305 bottom in for 350?

    Ok guys if I am staying within the same model year can I use the crank and rods from a 305 in a 350 without having to worry about rebalancing.

    I am no expert( and I dont have my interchange manual next to me) but I'm pretty sure you can. But why would you want to? Its still a 305

    Well it is for my friend and it would be a 350 sine the 305 and 350 share the same stroke. If you use the 305 crank and rods in the 350 block w 350 pistons it would be 350 cid. Thanks for the repley though.
