Does anyone have an '85 or older K5 with the 305 enigine?? If so can you please tell me if the timing tab is straight- up or set at approx. 2 o'clock position. I was also wondering if there would be any harm using a 305 balancer on a 350 engine (both are pre '86).

The 305 timing mark is hidden behind the water pump...to use a timing light you have to shoot straight down behind the water pump, while leaning over the radiator.
