i've been kinda busy this week, here are a few pics of my 31 gal conversion on my 72 blazer. let me know what else you want to see. here's a parts list, i got my tank from an 84 blazer. 86+ FI are the same size and shape.

    - 31 gal tank
    - skidplate
    - straps
    - 1/4"x2" steel angles, you will need two of them
    - filler hose reducer, available at any muffler shop.
    - misc clamps and hoses.

total cost under $100.00, i did all the work myself.

That extra capacity should come in handy. I'm getting the in the cab tank out of my cab in the near future. Going to a custom made ~34 gallon tank that is going to be built next to the headache rack on my pickup.

I'll e-mail you with my request.I've been toying with the idea of a bigger tank.Do you think it will work on a Blazer with no lift, body or suspension.I think it may be too tight of a fit on the top of the tank.

Then again, you could go with the 37 gallon NWMP tank or the 40 gallon Aero Tanks unit and not have to deal with cutting any crossmembers or anything.
