Damn, its cold!!! Can't turn the key in the ambulance to fire it up. The Jeep just whimpers. The old Blazer is trying to start, just needs a little more battery power. I pushed in the clutch to start it, and the pedal stays on the floor, the shifter won't hardly move either. Forecast for tonight is more of the same. BTW, the wife's 05 Malibu fired right up-FI can be a wonderful thing!!!!

Its about 30 here. Im sure its warmin up by now though. Everything froze over last night which is kinda rare in this part of texas. I went walkin around last night about 1 am. People were on the top level of the parking grage sliding down the incline in icechests and trashcan lids. The blazer is covered in ice and there was no need to even try and crank it, though Im thinkin about it just cause Im curious to see if it would even start. Im sure it will though. I went back out at about 7 and everthing had started to thaw out. I could tell it froze more after I got back in last night though.

I had to go back out when somebody thought it would be cool to pull the fire alarm at about 7:45. I was comfortable wearin carhart insulated overalls and my hunting jacket. I did take my bug carhart coat cause I figured somebody might need it. Of course it got used. A girl came down wearin shorts and a hoody so I gave it to her so she could wrap it around her legs.

The ice is somewhat of a novelty but I already hate it. I dont envy yall folks from up north though. I hate the cold. Im ready for my 100 degree in the shade summers.

Its been interesting this morning so far. They pushed back the start of final exams due to ice on the roads. I guess us southern folk cant drive on ice. I sure as hell didnt want to. Im glad I live on campus. The upside is that I get an extra hour and a 1/2 to study. For some reason I'm on CK5..........:doah:

That sucks. It's 17 here in my end of Canada, calling for 4-6"s of snow. Better go for my bike ride early I guess.

Yikes. It was -13 here the other morning but it's been warming up as the week goes on. It's 0 right now and it's supposed to hit 12 today if the sun stays out, I think it was -7 or -8 when I went to class.

I'm with you (-) is something people here in MS don't see often. In fact I don't think I've ever seen that here. Have seen single digits a few times but not (-). :eek1: Heck, down here if they even think snow is on the way they will close schools and send people home from work.

Yep, just as it should be. Unless I'm skiing, I have no need for snow. Ever.

We've been really cold here. It was -13 yesterday morning, -2 this morning. It hasn't hardly been above 10 degrees in 10 days.

250 miles west of here in West Yellowstone it was -45 yesterday morning :eek1:

Supposed to warm up into the upper 30's or low 40's by this weekend. That's 50+ degrees warmer than it was yesterday morning

It sure hit hard & early this year!

Yeah, it was -15 at work that night. We were having to jump almost every truck we had to pull in the shop...and that's not fun to do when it's that cold.
