YES I DID A SEARCH! Several, in fact. Too much broad info on the 350 in general. I have the GM Performance 330hp 350 in my 72 K-5. Problem is, all the torque comes in around 4500RPM. At 1500-2000 (on a steep, rocky hill,) I might be lucky to see 200ft-lbs. That ain't enough for 6500 pounds of metal!!! The question is this: Is there a way to max out the torque from this block and get where I want the low-end at, or would I be better off buying a new motor? The current block only has about 12,000 miles on it. I think I'd be able to sell it for a decent price. Someday, It'll be 502 time, but right now I can't afford it. Anybody know the answers?
