Is this doable?
Doable , not optimal . I like 8 inch wide . Tires sidewall seems to sticks out a little , protects the bead better . Also just a bit taller than on a 10 inch wide rim .
Ive done 2 sets of 35x12.5's on 15x10's and never had a problem. ITs what most tire companies recommend (8.5"-10.0"). Plus you'll be good to go if you decide to step up to a 14" wide tire.
33/12.5 on 15X10 M/T change the whole look of my truck
