350 redline?

    I am going to install a tach and was wondering what the redline is on a '89 350 TBI. Thanks ya'll

    I think it is either 5000 or 5500 but I am not sure...Somebody else might be able to field this one...[​IMG]

    It might spin to 5000 RPM...but it will run out of useful power by 4500. I consider that a reasonably sane redline for a stock motor.
