350 tranny to 400???

    I recently had my transmission go out on my jimmy and I would like to know if there are any mods to be done to put in a turbo 400???...........I also plan on putting in a crate HO 350 putting out 330HP and 380TQ any ideas if this tranny will be able to accomidate this extra power???

    You need a transfer case to go with the tranny. And yes the th400 will handle that power. My stock rebuild th400 with a 35 dollar B&M shift kit is working fine(And has been for the past 2.5 years) in my firebird and it runs 11.1s in the 1/4 mile.

    will there be a problem with the driveshafts???

    Yes there will be a problem. The th400/205 combo is much shorter than the 350/203 combo. You can use the front driveshaft from the donor vehicle but will probably need a custom rear drive shaft, or lengthen yours.
