    35\'s and no lift?

I am really skimpin on the funds right now! I was wondering if I would be able to buy 35's and hack the sh!t out of my fenders to make them fit with no lift. There is only mud/snow/dirt here there isn't any rocks so I don't really have to flex too much. I could even run with the sway bar to minimalize it if thats what it would take. Could I do it or would I run into some serious problems? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif I just really want to run 35's BADLY!!!!

If you're prepared to hack-away, you can fit 35's.

I got 36's on a toyota with no lift. So yes you can make them fit if you trim enough.

Click on the link in my sig to see apic of 35's with no lift. The front tires rub on the rear part of the front fenders just sitting there. I'll be putting my 4" lift on in 2-3 weeks

If you have a 700R4 you should probably not run w/ OD if you go w/ the 35s though. I'm running 33s and when I use OD my tranny spends a lot of time going back and forth between gears. Do a search and you'll see tons of info on that. Even break downs of what gears should be ran w/ 35s. Just my .02 /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    Re: 35\'s and no lift?

I've got a TH350 I'm pretty sure so I think the tranny would be fine. I'd have to hunt down a 14b with 4.10 gears and a 4.10 gearset for the front ten bolt but that wouldn't be absolutely necesary. I know I know it would be hard on everything to be geared so high but I just really want the coolness! There is no hardcore 4 wheeling around here anyways. At the most, I'd run in some snow, very mild mud.

I don't even know what gears I'm running right now.... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Is there an easy way to find out?

Its not like its my DD, I only drive it to school like once maybe twice a week. I drive it like 3x a week usually. So it hardly gets driven.

right on /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif hack them fenders my favorite method is with a sawzall. imho your next upgrade after tires should be 3/4 ton running gear with lower gears. but i do like your attitude!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Thats just with helper springs front and rear...a guy named schmuck on the board...I've wheeled with him a bit, he has no flex, and it rubs very rarely, as you can see he does get in the mud with it
