    35\'s or 315\'s with Skyjacker 4\"...fit?

I read the tire fitment chart, but I need some real world experience.
Will 315/75/16 or 35x12.50 fit with a Skyjacker 4" softride on 10" wide wheels with no trimming?

If anyone is running this similar setup, pics would be great /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Is it because the Skyjackers sag?

I have 36's with my 6"RC and have alot of room. Granted if they fully flexed while turning they would hit. I just figured the 315's run small and would fit on a 4" with light offroading.

Yeah maybe with "light" offroading they will fit. On the street you'll probably be fine. I could make my 33's rub with 4", but I ran 36's on the same lift with no problems on the street. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Off road thats a different story /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif You can always just trim the bottom rear corner. It doesn't affect the looks, but gives you that extra needed clearance.

Thanks, I dont mind trimming that small piece, because 35's would be much better IMO and most of the 4 wheeling around here is flat and mud /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

My '85 K30 has 4" Skyjacker front and rear springs and 35" tires. They don't rub or hit during normal street driving, but when I turn onto a steep ditch, hill or driveway, the tires catch the corner of the rearward part of the front fenders. Just a small bend on each side, nothing big. Most guys would trim the corner of the fender to clear tires like this. And this setup is riding on 9.75" wide Welds.

I had an '84 K5 with 4" and 35's. Never rubbed at all no matter how hard I tried to flex. Never rubbed because I was running the stock 8" Ralley wheels.

    Thanks K30 /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I guess I really want the 35's because I hate too much fenderwell showing. I dont do any serious offroading, however ground clearance is very important to me so I would like the tallest tire I could fit. This is just the family camping/hunting/fishing vehicle. I use the 4wd and need it for the places we go, just no hardcore stuff.

Sure wish somebody could post some pics /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Now thats the pics I was looking for /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Are those 36's a "true" sized tire (actual 36")?
