    35\'s with 2.5\" lift??

i've got 2.5" front springs and 2.5" rear blocks, and 33x12.50-15 BFG A/T's on 15x10 AR steelies. i want to run 35's. mainly cause i have 4.56 gears. what exactly will it take to squeeze 35x12.50-15 BFG M/T's on 15x10's in there??? i don't mind trimming a little, i dont want to hack off too much. i just noticed Mudhog is running 38" tsl's on 2.5" lift? i have a few pics of my /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif here: http://www.cardomain.com/id/k5chris

You're going to have to hack quite a bit, but it'll fit no problem.

nip the corners off the front fenders and slap in a 1" body lift with poly bushings! I bet 35's will fit then (judging by the pic anyways) /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    Re: 35\'s with 2.5\" lift??

I am running 35's with 2.5" lift. I have another 1/4" in extended shackles, but I probably lost an inch of front lift when I added a Warn 12K and winch bumper.

I trimmed a decent amount from the rear of the front fender. Before the bumper I trimmed the back until if flowed back into the inner fender well. No big deal. Hell my dad didn't even notice until I told him.

After the winch and bumper I cut the inner fenderwell vertically so it will now flex back into the gap between the fenderwell and the cab floor as the tire flexes back.

I also nipped the corner off the front of the front fender so it wouldn't have a possibility of hitting a tire.

Also keep in mind that my 35's are only really 34".

hmmmmmmm....... i think i'll just be patiant and do it right. i want to do a 6" lift. so, i dont want to do a bodylift now. will 35's under a 6" lift look ok? i'm set on 6" TC front springs, and echobit shackle flip, and 35" BFG M/T's. - this probably wont be til next summer. i'll go up to 36 or 38" Ground Hawg radials - after 1 ton axles.

<font color="green">I've got 35's under my 90 with a four inch lift...cuts it real close though...I will be doing a 3in body lift so I can get a little more flex with out cutting the fenders just yet...Depends on what you do with your truck (trails, rocks, or mud) /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
