they do on my 85. i run 35x12.5x16.5, they are fine for street driving but dont do any real off roading with it or they will chew up your fenders.

    Re: 35s with a 4\"

I have 32's with a 4" on my 85 (or will when I get the lift finished this weekend). If I want to go to 35's, should I add a body lift or can I just do some minor fender trimming? If body lift, how much? I prefer to do as little body lift as possible and only if I must.

I had 35 bfg on my 73 with 3in lift. I had to do some minor trimming of the front fenders, but nothing on the back. I never had them hit when I was offroad either.

I have 4" Tuff Country HD springs with Dana 60 (additional 1" lift) as well as ORD HD Shackles (1/4" lift?) and with 35" SSR's they didn't hit at all right after the lift.........however, you unhook the swap bar (with ORD disconnects) and FULL flex (such as on our club RTI ramp) and it sure as heck does hit now..............time for the air cutoff wheel!

35"s will fit a 4" lift. A little trimming goes a long way to keeping them from rubbing.

My 85 K30 has 4" Skyjacker front and rear springs and 35" tires. There are no rubbing at all until I turn a corner in a dip then the driver side tire contacts the lower corner of the front fender. The passenger side does not touch at all.

One of the Jersey guys (I think his username is walt88) has an '88 with 35's and 4" lift (front springs, rear ORD shackle flip), and when we went wheeling he didn't have any rubbing.

I had a 4" with 35" bfg's on my 1979 Jimmy and I had no rubbing, but I was running a narrower rim then what they call for so it depends on thr rims and back spacing.

I've got a 4" Rancho and 35x12.50 BFG Mud Terrains and they've never rubbed. I don't do rock crawling or anything but I've had all 4 wheels off the ground and landed hard enough to nearly roll over and never had my tires rub. I don't understand how people say that they rub or they have to trim. I don't have to.

I've never disconnected my swaybar as I have no reason to. I don't run rocks, I run mud, and articulation isn't all that important there.

No trim here yet. I've got the 4" Tuff Country lift and ORD shackle, 35" Procomp MT's on 8" rims. I have scraped the front fender a couple times while rock crawling but nothing major-no fender or tire damage. I haven't decided on trimming yet and I may put on a 1" body lift.

I have a rancho 4" lift, 3" body lift, no sway bar and i had to trim the front fenders and "modify" the rears. I run 35x12.5x15 bfg muds on 8" rims.

Depends on what kind of off-roading you do too. Mud is one thing. On the rocks you guys really flex them up. Mine have never rubbed with the 4".

    Re: 35s with a 4\"

If it flexes at all 35s & a 4" lift will rub. My fenders are trimmed a couple of inches and mine will rub even with the sway bar hooked up. This is with a Skyjacker 4", BFG MT 35x12.50-15 on stock raleys. Hell, 33s will rub with a 4" if the truck flexes good.

You're crazy. Mine have NEVER hit the fenders. ABSOLUTELY NEVER. And I beat the @$#%@# out of my truck in the mud. I still can't understand how people say theirs have rubbed.

    Re: 35s with a 4\"

Just wondering if all yaers of blazers have the same fender well openings. I thought 72 an before were wider than 73 and after. I know that the side marker changed at some point. What about other demensions over the years?

This may account for some of the differences in peoples ability to run tire size.

Does backspacing or other rim demensions have an effect?

Well now that I have had my thought for the day now I can stop thinking!
