37\'s are on!! Question (PICS ADDED)

37x12.50 SSR's Got them mounted this afternoon. Not balanced, but at 70 mph they are smooth smooth smooth and way quieter than my TSL Radials. Get some pics up tomorrow /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

    **Question**
What is a good pressure to run in these on the street? I have them at 28 right now /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    Hope these work /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

i would run them at what feels good, as far as slipping, braking, turning, etc.. and see how they wear and adjust them

I run the 35 psi for pavement. I put those on mine (got all 4 used about 75% tread from a yuppie $75 ) After my first trail, I came home and used the sawzall. That was before I even heard about people doing the fender cutting.

Re: 37\'s are on!! Question (PICS ADDED)

    Brian,
When I had 33x14.50 SSR's on my 10's they liked to suck in and the tread did not want to run completely flat across the bottom with them at full pressure(30psi) I ran mine around 22-25psi Most of the time because that is where I had the flattest foot print. I was told that with swampers you wan't to keep as much PSI as you can with the tread still making contact with the ground from edge to edge for best weight displacement. I just got mine on a flat smooth cement slab at full PSI and started airing down until the print was flat. I had 20 some thousand miles on mine when I sold them and they still had over 1/2 tread so I think I had it right. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
