    38.5\" TSLs

I just picked up a brand new set of 38.5" TSLs for a killer deal. They only measure like 36" though. Do they expand a heck of a lot when you mount them on wheels and fill them with air? The Interco site claims they are 38.2" tall. I'm just cucious because they are not as big as I think they should be.

I got a used and worn set of 39.5's recently...on rims but all had no air. They measured 36.5" or so. Once they were aired up they measured 38.25" average.

Measure the overall circumference and divide by pi to get the theoretical diameter. Mine measured 121.5" for a theoretical diameter of 38.67". That is with damn near zero tread though.

My near new set of 38.5 TSL SX measure just a little over 37 inches tall on a 16.5x9.75 wheel.

I just had them mounted and they only measure a little over 36" tall. They only have 18 psi though, what psi are ya'll running at? I want them to be at least 37" tall.

Ok.. just took it up to 25psi and they now measure 37 3/4" which isn't bad at all. Oh yea this time I measured them on pavement and last time was in the grass /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

25 psi? I surely hope you aren't planning on running them at that preassure. I definately hope you aren't driving this thing around everyday over 45 or so either. i have the same tires on my truck but on 15 inch wheels instead of 16.5's and I run mine at 14-15 and 16 in the front. anything too much above this, ESPECIALLY at highway speeds, will make short work of balding them in a hurry. just thoguht I would throw out my info.

No I do not plan on running them at this pressure. I wanted to see the difference in tire height with the 2 differen't pressures. I plan on running them at 18 psi again.
