38\" MT Baja Claws-Anyone Running These Tires?

I have seen a couple of trucks off the web running these tires and was wondering if anybody in here or if anyone knows of anybody else running the 38" Baja Claws.

I was thinking about them for my K5.

    Eric.

I friend of mine runs 33" claws and I was really impressed with the way they perform. He has had it in the mud alot and on the rocks some and they seem to perform well all around. Pretty quite on the street also just my .02

TheLakeRat has them on his ride. I had the 35's on mine and loved them. They just weren't big enough. I would have liked to run the 38's, but they were too much $ for me. I payed less for my 42's than it would have been for them. The baja claws did very well on rocks in my opinion. The side walls were awesome, I miss that. I never had the tires in mud, so I can't really comment on that. They seemed to clean well though. I would imagine in sand they would dig unless you had the hp to turn them. I had the bias ply, and they were loud as hell on the street in my opinion. Between a swamper and a bogger as far as sound level. I also had trouble keeping mine balanced. When I bought them, it took over 32 oz. to balance all four on alum. wheels! /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

I'm running the 33" Baja Radial Claws right now and they have done pretty well in all situations especially on the street for such an aggressive tread. I was wondering about the much bigger size and them being bias ply.

Thanks for all the info guys.

    Eric.
