38" sx's...12.5 or 14.5 wide?

    38\" sx\'s...12.5 or 14.5 wide?

    im thiinkin more and more of buying these and putting em under my 4" lift. any opinions on em? i figure if i caan get 15,000 miles ill be happy

    I use 38.5x14.5x15 Swamper SXs with 8 inches of lift (as far as i know, there are no 38 SXs, only 38.5), so you will have to do some serious fender cutting to run these with a 4 inch suspension. As far as the dimensions go: These tires are actually BIGGER than advertised, mine measure about 38.5" in height and are more than 15" wide, almost 15.5", mounted on a 15x10 steel wheel.

    With your kind of terrain I'd go with the wider size...IF ya can deal with slapping in a 3 inch body lift and probably some medium fender trimming.

    Checkout dblazers site. He's running 4" suspension, 2 " body, and a moved front axle to clear 38's.
