    It has been 3 years sence my last 383 build up and this weekend I am helping my dad build one with vortec heads for his 87 Wagoneer you can see the wagoner on my site http://www.msnusers.com/scoottersoffroadventures under freinds. Anyway I dont remember were to grind the block to clear the crank/rods. Pics diagrams any thing will help . Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

    nobody yet hu. I am a couple hours away from starting and I have found some pics on line but they arent the best so I am still looking. thanks

    I havent taken any pics yet but if you need some tell me what your looking for and I will get some up in a new folder on my site. But beaware I still am not sure were to grind the block i just did my best consirvitive gess and i will let the machine shop do more if needed. give me a cuople weeks to get it back from the shop and well know for sure
