I know it's been asked before, but what's it gonna take for me to fit 38x15.5 swampers. I already have a 6" lift. Can I do it w/ some MINOR fender cutting?

I know just enough to know that I'll never know enough.

I few people on the site are running 38's with 6" and 3" body lift, (pureinsanity, tlarsw, and others with no trimming,) but I'm sure you can fit them with trimming. it depends on how hard you off road as to how much trimming you will have to do with only a 6" susp. lift. I guess anything is possible when you see Pete (forgot user name) is running 39.5's with only a 3" lift [IMG]
Check out the members ride section and yo can see a few with 38's and how much they had to trim.

The radial version of the 38s are not quite as tall as the bias 38.5s. The rim width will also affect the height of the tire.

I would go with a 3in body. Cause eventually the radials will wear out(Mine lasted 2 years and still looked great when I traded my Dodge in) and you can by bias 39.5s for less than the 38 TSL Rs, and you may want to go higher....who doesnt?

"If it aint broke don't fix it" is like a 4 letter word.
