I'm about to order some new wheels for my 39.5-15-15 TSL SuperSwampers because my 14FF is going in next week. Will 15x12's look stupid(stick out past the tire) on my tires or should I just go with the 15x10's. Anyone got any pics of this combo? Any advice would be greatly appreciated because I have no clue of what to expect.

    Thanks again!!!

Okay, your getting 35- 15.50 -15 tires. Okay that means the tire tread is 15.5 inchs wide, there for 15x12 rims would work great. I would recommend the 15x12 over the 15x10 because the 15x10 would decrease the tread width because it rolls the sides in. The 15x12 would also look better and make the tires look even bigger. /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

That's what I was thinking but wasn't completely sure. I'll go with the 15x12's. Thanks for your input. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

<font color="green"> I had 38x15.5s on 15x10s and I thought they looked great. I think the 15x12s would look a little wide, plus they would be harder on your D44. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif Interco also recommends a 15x10 rim for that tire. -

    A pic of 38x15.5s on 15x10s -

the Narrower rims will make it track better down the road also. I run those tires on a 10" rim and I like them. You can get away with airing down more also. I've ran my 40" boggers down to 3 pounds before and drove it around town (Didnt know they were that low) on a 10" rim.

I would recommend the 10" rims for pure functionality. I know guys who have run the 39.5x15s and 42x15's on 12" wide rims and they both wished they had gotten 10" rims instead. On the other hand, the 12" rims really make the tire look bigger.

72THING has 39.5x15-15 TSL's on 15x10 wheels. It looks good...I like a little sidewall bulge. It is also the size Interco recommends. I think it is a mistake to run 12" wide wheels on anything that doesn't need it. I'm running my 44" TSL's on 16.5x12 wheels and, if I decide to go with 44" Boggers when these wear out, I will run them on 15x10 wheels.

Yeah, I'm running 15x10's now. I was just wondering if it would look better with 15x12's. I'm convinced to run the 15x10's then. I had no problem at all with them but was just wondering since I'm buying new ones. Thanks

This is to 79Beast before he buys 15x10 rims for his 44's.

Those are 16.5x14 rims on 19.5 inch wide boggers. Those tires are buldging out from the rim. Those boggers look good on bead locks that my buddy made. Look /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

yeah i wouldn't run 44" boggers on 10"s more like 14"s. i saw a set on custom 16.5x19.5 bead locks one time and they looked AWESOME!!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Accually, its the cross section not the tread that would be 15.5" wide.
