    39.5\"s or 38.5\"s TSL\'s???

I need to figure out which size tire to buy.I onlywant to do this once,so I've got to make up my mind on which one I think will fit.take alook at my webshots pictures and look at the "my current truck pics" thread to figure out if 39.5" would fit.I seem to have enough room in the front cause of my massive fender trimming(about 6" of cutting)
and a total of 7" of lift.I know the rear would have to be opened up but thats ok,cause I have new brades for the sawzall

Guess it depends on what your going to do with the truck. In most cases, bigger is better but not always.

i have 6" of total lift + fender trimming and my 39.5 TSLs fit just fine... u oughta be a-ok.

AFA 38.5 vs 39.5... the 38.5s I have seen always seem undersized (closer to 37) while the 39.5s seem to be closer to what they are advertised as. Dunno if that matters to u or not... but from what I have seen there is more than 1 inch between the sizes.

How about some measurements? Anyone got some real measurements of 38.5 and 39.5? Specifically 38.5x14.50-16.5 TSL/SX and 39.5x15-16.5 Swampers. If put up a link to this http://www.intercotire.com/ I'll /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gifslap you

My 38.5x16-16.5 TSL's measured 37.75" when brand new and mounted on the truck. I have 6" of lift and a butt load of trimming and they have plenty or room.
