39.5\'s fender trimming and paint...Black Bear Project Update

i have christened my project "Black Bear"

I have now, with the help and hard work of many friends, Got the tranny running right, 39.5's, Full fender cuts, Electric tailgate, herculiner for the bed. I also am smoothing the body out, leaving only the doorhandles and locks, no emblems or nuthin. Got the frame braces and the sheckle flip is in April...

Also, those who have chopped the fenders, please offer your critique, I don't want to pop a tire/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Looks great! Also I don't think anything with one ton axles could be ugly!

    Black Bear.......I like that!

Time to drop the "Fugly" moniker... once it's painted, it won't make sense anyway.

Are you going to replace the headliner with a "bearskin" material to go with your new theme? I'm assuming the truck is being painted BLACK???

looks good to me! I like how u did the rear wells to... seems like not to many peeps trim the front side of that well. I am definitely gonna chop that part on mine. BTW, sweet tires, 39.5 TSLs are exactly what I am gonna get for frail-only tires. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

No, i haven't flexed it out yet, and the rate it is going it won't be for a while/forums/images/icons/frown.gif
It is a 6" Lift (6" Mystree Front Springs and 4" Blocks + 2.5" add-a-leafs) But i have 4" springs in the garage and 2.5" ORD flip coming/forums/images/icons/cool.gif
The engine is going next. It has a head gasket leak (minor one) and the rear main is shot, so it am getting a 260HP GM crate engine next week (i hope/forums/images/icons/crazy.gif)
The fender lip is a 1/4 mild steel piece that a firend of mine is forming to the fender lip. It looks great, smooth as silk and i won't be doing any self-sipping with them/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
It is going to be Coach Black, x-over steering in the future, cage, and new seats. It is getting there!

Thanks for the kind words, and MAD PROPS to Tony & Msquared for the help and Fender lips

It looks like you have room for bigger meats than 39.5's even.....Maybe 42's in the future?

Just when I was getting happy with what I had, you had to go and do something like this! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Looks great! I especially like the fender lip!
