My 1920's house didn't have any insulation until the 60's or 70's when the owner put in a couple batts in the crawl spaces. Then in the 80's the next owner put blown-in cellulose in the walls.

I've been putting in new fiberglass batts whenever I take out a wall. The blown in stuff sux, gets everywhere.

    That sucks!!

Don't be badmouthing winter, you're gonna end up with a box of snakes and **** instead of jewels and money. It always pays to be polite an honest. Remeber what happened to the evil sister. Yeah!

Anyway, I have a space heater from 1976 and a concrete floor

    I'm cold

Pshhh I don't care what it is as long as it isn't itchy and it's warm. Unless it's an army blanket, then it can be itchy.

I'm using a Mario blanket as I type! Go go MAR-I-O! Get that flower, jump on that goomba, rock the turtles world!
