I came across a set of rebuilt 3/4 ton axels with 4.11 gears, will it be to much of a gear for a k5 that sees a lot of on/off road driving? i have a 350, 700r4, 208 set up. i plan on running 33's for now.

Should be a good combintation with the 700R4. Keep that 700 running cool.

No need for a conversion u joint for the front 3/4 ton axle. A 3/4 ton front axle is basically just a 1/2 ton front axle with a couple minor differences (backing plate and outer stubs I think). A 3/4 ton rear axle is exactly the same as a 1 ton rear axle except for spring perches and shock mounts hence the need for a specal rear u joint.

Probably not need one for the front. I didn't on mine. Front is a 297.
