<font color=purple> O.k. ...... I've decided to swap the old 3:42 gears for the 4:56's that will suit my new 35"ers better concidering the guy who came and helped me weld my rear quarter pillars to my floor said he'd do it for me and all I have to do is get the stuff ! So, I have 10 bolts front and rear ........... what gears do I need to buy ? I know I'm buying Precission Gears but are there different ones or do I just order ones for 10 bolts ? How do I know what to order ? I've never dealt with gears before and want to order the correct ones for my axles ..........any help as always will be appreciated. By the way, the welding went well tonight :p

Buy performance gears if the have them. They are a little more, but alot better quality. Motive gear has performance gears if they dont. Dont buy the pro gears though. They are made softer to handle high horsepower cars. The bad part about tth pro gears is you can only drive 50 miles at a time, then have to let them cool off.

Just order gears for a 10B. The carrier is the same for all gear rations in the trucks so no worry on getting the right ones... cause there is only one. I'd recomend a good rebuild kit at the same time w/ all the bearings and seal. One of the best places I have used for parts is Drivetrain Direct http://coloradok5.com/gallery/captcrunch
