I know this doesnt belong here but you guys always have good ideas......Im building a 4 link setup for my z71 and am having trouble with the upper links and how to mount them on the diff.I see most guys fab a tube to run over the diff and weld to the axle tube on both sides and truss it from the diff cover.Well i would do that but my spring pads had to be installed so far inboard becuase of the frame width that on the pass side I dont have room to weld a tube to the axle tube. Any ideas?I really dont want to weld to the diff unles I have to but ............Im using a 14 bolt from a 74 3/4 ton and the thing is just so narrow for this truck.PLease help if you can. Thanks again.

Sounds to me like you get to weld to the housing.
