4\" Superlift Superide springs for $100...Good deal ??

    Hi,

Im in the market for some 4" front springs.
Was seriously looking at the BDS 4" or TC 3" HD's with 1" zeros.
A guy up the street has a pair of 4" superides with the used poly bushings for $100. He's had them on his mall cruzer truck for 2 years.

I did a search and saw some Pro's-Con's on flex and ride.
I did notice their spring rate is like 560 !
I hope to someday have a winch up front.
Do these flex good or ???
I will probably do the extended towers and Doestech shocks at the same time.

    Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Well, I have a set of Superlifts (not the Softrides) that I bought for $150. I get decent flex out of them, but they ride like an empty dumptruck on the street. $100 sounds like a good deal.

Softrides rock. I wish I could have gotten some 4", but I got a real good deal on what i got. I paid $150 for my 6" softrides, and some 6" blocks that I gave away. Got them from backyardbuilt

    Thanks for the info.
The guy said they rode real smooth.
Hard to believe they can have a spring rate of 560 and be soft. Read something about them sagging and not flexing well, then I read just the opposit /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Eventually im going to add a 3nd battery, create storage areas under the hood for tools and add a winch and bumper. This will add some weight too.

    Thanks
