    4\" susp. 3\" body

i got a '77 k5 and i currently have a 4 inch susp. and 33x12.50s. one of my buddies made me a 3 inch body lift in his machine shop class. well my question is would it look really stupid if i temperarly drove around on 33's with my 4 inch suspension and 3inch body lift? has any body ever seen a blazer like that? thanks

here's what mine looks like with 4" suspension and 3" body, along with 33's...I will say I'm getting 35's because it does look a bit "off" with the extra space. Again, personal preference...some people like the way it looks, others don't.

i ran with a 6 in suspension and 32s for a couple of months, just admit it when somebody says it looks like crap and tell them the bigger tires are on the way. the day u get them everyone will notice.

Dude, run what you can afford, who cares what others think? I'm running LT235/85R16's under my K10 with 6" suspension and 3" body lift. Does it look a little silly? You bet! Do I like it? I'm not crazy about it, but I can't afford big rolling meats right now. The most common comment/question I get is: Nice truck, when ya gonna put tires on it? Wish I could post a picture of it, but it might make ya laugh! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yes, it looks dumb but run it till you can afford new tires.

    Re: 4\" susp. 3\" body

i see how about how everyone is concerned about how it
looks with all that lift and little tires , but what about
how the truck is riding with all that weight higher in the air and small tires ? . what about cornering ? not trying to give anyone a hard time , i was just curious.
i am installing my 4" lift this weekend hopefully and bolting on \some 35s right after.

I can tell you that with the 9" of lift and LT235/85R16 tires, she's definitely a little top heavy, and I don't take exit ramps and 90 degree turns real fast! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
