your going to be trimming pretty good either way in my opinion. I got 6.5" of lift with 35" ssr's and i trimmed alot. I also don't run a sway bar. Later - Doug

I have 6 and 3 to clear 38s. the fenders had been trimmed at the very bottom and they are not even visible in the pic unless you know they are there.

I had to trim just to get my 36" to fit on 4". HAve pics under camo beast in members ride. Could wheel and flex with swaybar and no problems. Since then have trimmed more to copensate for disconnects.

    I have 4+3 and 38x12.50"s

The Susp. is Skyjacker, pretty flexy, so the tires will contact the inner fenders when flexing/turning.

I have trimmed a little, but still need to do more.
I would recommend at least 6+2 and preferably 6+3

    Poundin' the ol "pavment"!

Mike, I have pics in my gallery with a 4" lift and 36" Swampers and I also have pics with 4" lift + 3" body lift with the 36" Swampers. I couldn't even run it comfortably (with the 4" lift and 36" tires) on the street without the front tires banging on the front fenders in small curbs or dips. The 36" tires have good clearance with the 4" + 3" lift. I used to have 33" BFGs with the 4" lift and that was a very nice set up.

    Re: 4

I have a 4" Skyjacker, all spring no block lift. 33" BFG mudds and the set-up is perfect. I never hit the fenders and there is plenty of clearence.
