40 gal gas tank

    the gas tank I am talking about is on ebay under blazer gas tank, is it worth getting or is it just homebuilt crap?

    got a link or not????? and stock blazer tanks were only up to 31 gal if i recall correctly. burbs came up to 40 gal.

    Yeah, I don't think CK5 has a big enough butt for the 40 gal., and if its not GM & short but deep for 40 gal., I'd watchout for drag yer butt.:confused:

    I recently removed a 40 gallon tank from my 69. It fit great and was no issue, but I was brining it back to a more original state and did not need the extra gas.
    I would not hesitate to re-install if I needed it for anyreason.
    It was a custom tank like this one(similar shape) and used electric fuel pump(external). I kept the electric fuel pump external when I installed a repop "stock" tank. Works great:
