    Will a 40 gal fit in a 77' Blazer?

Only if you want the edge of the tank right up against the rear bumper....a 25 and 31 gallon are the only things that will fit in the stock location in a blazer, unless you want to do some real mod's

I've got a 31 gal that I was gonna use in my stepside, but I don't think I can cram it in there. I think I'm gonna have to let it go, let me know if you're interested. I think I'll be passing through your area the end of march, at the latest.

Is the sending unit good, does it have a skid plate?

I was told the sending unit was working fine when it was removed from it's last vehicle. I can bust out the ohmmeter if you want though. I'm not sure what a skid plate looks like, but I don't think there is one. But I know if anyone can improvise and fab something, you can.

I'd happily let it go for 20. I have no where to keep it, it's just been sitting in the back of my truck.
