What's a good matchup for my 406 SBC? I'm going from a 305 to this engine and would like to have the right clutch for it.

    Thanks!!

Just go with the regular 12". The 305 should have an 11" stock, but the flywheel will take the 12" no problem. You can get a heavy-duty ceramic-faced disc (3-5 ton application) but its hard on the flywheel and is too grabby for any offroad use.

Just make sure you get the 400 flywheel - its externally balanced unlike the 305. You could also have the 305 flywheel balanced with the engine.
