    uh

isn't propane for diesels either way 400 is same external dimensions as the rest of small blocks the difference is the cylinders are 400 Chevrolets are siamesed. No water between the cylinders on the middle bores they have steam holes watch the temp.

Yes there is propane injection for diesels but gas motors can be retrofitted to run propane and or gas. They make kits for them on the internet and I have seen quite a few around here...the newest one I saw was a 98 z-71.

yes it will swap right over. What mixer and regulator(vaporizer) do you have? If its an Impco 425 and a stock 400SBC you ought to be good to go.

And Propane only acts as a catalyst in Diesels. In a "gas" motor it is the primary fuel source :) Puting together a Propane setup for my hot rodded 383.
