I agree, a Diesel would have been my first choice in it.

I thought Stacey said a diesel wouldn't fit.

I wonder how much that thing cost. $20K+ is my bet. As to Diesel, the RPMs a re a killer at Rockwells 6.72 gearing.

Yeah well, as far as I'm concerned it's already botched. 49's, Rockies, and LEAF SPRINGS???

Can you say axlewrap and wheel hop boys and girls?

I don't think it is going to flex at all. Those springs are like what would have been on a 2 ton truck. It only needs about 3 of the 10 or so springs.

Did you see those springs? They won't absorb bumps let alone allow the axles to wrap up, I think you are over estimating the problem. He will probably fab some ladder bars or something before you know it too.

Anyone happen to know a place to download the episodes of this show? Just wondering, I missed it this weekend. was too busy actually working on my rig :haha:

It will be on 12 more times this month anyway. I wouldn't worry about it. Heck, I've seen the jeep build up they did for the kid and his dad about 4 times already.

Actually I didn't see the springs. I watched until he said we're gonna stay with leaves, at which point I turned it off went outside to work on my junk.

If they're as thick as everybody is saying they are, then I wouldn't see a problem. I just have images in my head of the monstrous fiberglass body jeep at TTC.
