    44\'s ON A BLAZER?

MY BOSS WANTS TO MAKE A BOGGING TRUCK (BLAZER) WITH 44 BOGGERS. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO FIT THEM?
8" SPRINGS/3" BODY/CUT FINDERS? THATS ALL I CAN COME UP WITH. 12" IS TO MUCH ON THE PINION ANGEL WITH OUT BIG TIME MOD'S (RIGHT?)

If you have a stock 10 bolt axle you might not want to go that big. You could have some real problems witht the axle shaft breaking. Or you could go with crome ally axle shaft's and regear the rear axle. Or you could do what i am going and find a 14 bolt which would be no problem. And I will probably run 40's or maybe bigger I don't no got to have $$$$.

The axle part is taken care of. He just needs to know about the lift. It will also run a 454

As far as the lift goes, a friend of mine has a 10" suspension lift and 3" body lift and he has 44 boggers on his truck. he doesn't have any problem with clearance or the drive shalt angle.

They run there a good bit. You can also ride up to Waycross and go to the one there. Lots of guys come from JAcksonville. There is also one in Douglas and one in Folkston.

There was a guy around here running a 3" body lift ad majorly cut fenders with 44's.... Look nasty and I wouldn't recomend it.

    Re: 44\'s ON A BLAZER?

I ran 44" boggers on a Blazer with an 9" suspension lift, 3" body lift and cut fenders. Had no problems for most of the season till I hit a hole realhard and bashed in the drivers side fender in about 3 inches.
Even at a 9" suspnesion lift we had to modify the drive angles for the front shaft. Went through 7 different front shaft till we got the right combo.,
This year we have gone 12" suspension lift
