    I have a 454 out of an 84' K30. Has app 85K on it. Timing chain jumped so that needs replaced. Was driven daily until then. $500
    Also have 465/205 out of the same truck. The 465 was rebuilt a couple yrs ago. $325 for the combo
    Then I have a 91' 32spline 465 with the late round pattern 205 adapter. I'd take $120 for the tranny and $100 for the adapter.
    All prices are OBO.

    really interested in the BBC. any other known problems other than the timing chain repair? pics?

    Yes,all the brackets are included. It's still in the truck.

    Yeah,carb,manifolds,alternator,starter,PS pump,ect. Has A/C bracket but no A/C pump.

    oh ok. i talked to a buddy yesterday, he told me that if the timing chain jumped that the valves, pistons, etc. could be damaged because of the mismatched timing. do you know if this is true? or is the motor worth going through?

    It depends on who you ask. I've asked numerous mechanics and it's possible the rods can get bent but that's the only thing they had any concern about. And it's maybe a 50/50% chance with that.
