My buddy had his 454 go and had a local shop replace it with a freshly rebuilt engine. Anyways, the shop said the only problem was it spun the crank bearings. Anyway, he's gonna sell it for $500. If anyone is interested, give me a call @ 719-321-8506 & I'll get your info to him.

I will try to get with the owner today (Sat) for all of the specifics. I think it's everything EXCEPT assessories. IIRC, "it blew up". So, a local shop he deals alot with had a line on a completely fresh rebuilt 402 (they had done it) with a 90 day warrantee installed for $1125. The shop had done the work & the owner could pay. Anyway, he had that put in and the pulled the old 454. After inspection, it appears the only thing wrong was it threw the crank bearing. So, that is what I know. As I said, I'll try to get witht he owner Sat. Otherwise, I won't be able to until Tues.

Okay. Found out the following info today:

I verified the following info myself. 454 does not come with assessories or brackets. Otherwise, complete intake/valve covers to pan.

    Engine Production Date: J-1-73
Head #: 17491 (I verified both the same.)
    Block Casting #: 340220
    # on Block by Timing Cover: T1114AKT

Let me know if there is anything else. Price is $500 unnegotable.
