Do you need any parts/adapters to make this work? Tranny cooler lines the same size? Larger coolant hoses?

You need a new top plate for sure, and I remember hearing somewhere that you need adapters to fit your tranny lines. Not sure of anything else. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

you will need four core mounting brackets, if is 81up, and new top plate for four core if is 73-80

if is 82-up then i have four core pair of brackets you will need

also sometimes the top rad hose port on four core is smaller diameter than 2 and 3 core, it was this way or my 83 2 core rad to 74 style 4 core swap

the 2 core hose was too large diameter for the 4 core rsdiator

And if you plan on running a fan shroud then you will need to either modify your existing one or buy the shroud from the dealership to fit the 4 core radiator, other than the bracket everything slides right in. I think this was one of the best mods i did. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

tranny lines and hoses are the same. The fan shrouds are different. The stock BB upper supports are 1 piece, but you can use your stock 2 piece bracets and move them out. the core supports are usually set up for either mounts.
