I have a 454, TH400 and a np205 t-case out of a '78 pickup that I am thinking about putting in my '86 Blazer. I've allready swapped the axels and am wondering what kind of trouble it would be to put the 454 in place of my stock 350. I live in CO so any comments would be appreciated ...including emissions, fit ,ect...
    Thanks

Is Longmont in the area that has to pass emissions? If so, then the rig will still have to be able to pass both the visual and sniffer test for an '86. They're looking for cats, air pump, vapor canister, etc. Make sure you don't build something that you can't register. [IMG] The emissions tech folks can be very helpful in sorting out what you need to do. Give them a call.
