Will dropping in a 454 make the front of my blazer drop a lot
OK then will it droop any more than with my 350 in it
SBC = ~650lbs
BBC = ~800lbs-850lbs
So sit on the front of the truck and there is your difference! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Not so much that you or anyone else would be able to notice it.
Mine did not drop at all. Rode the same also. Go for it. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
You can get the weight of the BB down closer to a SB by running headers and an aluminum intake. Then the difference in weight is less than 100 pounds. I don't know how I ever survived with a SB before my 454!!! The power difference is incredible!!!
The engine I am looking to buy already has headers and and Edelbrock Intake out of a 77 Suburban, with around 70K original miles complete from pan to air cleaner and fan to flexplate for 500.00 what do ya think?????? /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Sounds like a good price to me. I say go for it.
Yeah, thats a real good price. The junkyards want that much for a core.
Nah it's too much, give me his coordinates.
