    <font color="red"> what would a normal 454 have for power i.e horse power, and torque......some minor mods like intake maifold madey heads, not sure on the carb but its in an 81 </font color>

    According to Chilton an 81 has 210 horse and 340 FTLBs of torque.

    You have to remember that was when HP #'s were not really a big selling point like it is today.

    heres some more info, the intake manifold is and edelbrok, its got dual exhaust, it was rebuilt at 70 and thats all i know, so i don't know if that would help....what do you thing i'll get for gass milege with a turbo350 and 4.10 in an 81 k-20,lifted 6 with35's

    I get 9 around town in my Dually 454/ 4L80HD/ 3.73s 215/85/R16 tires.
