4wd 3/4 T Crossmember in front of engine

    It definitely has to be 4wd, the 2wd in my Suburban will not work.

    You mean the one riveted in the front where the brake PV is bolted?
    I have one from an 83 K20 already out, I'll take a pic tomorrow and go from there.

    the one with more holes is an 81 and the one that has more of grey is the 83.

    Can you take a look in your 85 4x4 and see which one looks like the one in it?

    I will do that in a couple of days, it's parked 1 hour away from me.
    If it helps I can look at my 89 today.
    They both are the same, it's just the 81 has a couple of oval openings that probably were for some pass thru options, I would go with the 83 because it's more solid and you can put hole in it if you want, but if you are not in a hurry I will check my 85
