Hey guys i was putting my K5 thru its usual monthly 4x4 run just to keep it lubed, when i start to hear this kind of whining sound from the front right wheel area. It has to be something 4x4 related as thats the only time it makes the noise. Any ideas? I cant pull the wheel an look right now due to weather. But anything or anywhere inparticular i should be looking? I dont remember ever hearing the noise before, but i could just be paranoid....lemme know you brainiacs please...TIA

you might have a missing c clip on the end of the axle causeing it to rub on the outsied of the disk if you have so check if the axle moves in and out. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

He meant the retaining ring, not c-clip.
