    4x4 Adventure.Pics of Wayne\'s Boy Scout Cake

Our son's Boy Scout Trop had a Father son Cake bake and decorating contest and here is what Wayne's and Matt's cake looked like. Each cake was then auctioned off to help raise funds for the troop to help keep costs down for the parents. Their cake sold for $15...not bad considering it cost me abot $4 to make. It also won Matt a gift certificate for McDonald's as a prize for Judges Choice Award. He was thrilled. Take a look at the pics.

Great job! Nice to have a light-topic post after the doozies we've been getting lately!

We did the same thing Riz. We used pecan halves to make a rock pile. Chocolate licorace with green frosting on top for our trees and of corse the mud was chocolate frosting. Then we smeared it on the truck. Including on the windows. The cake was still slightly warm when we frosted it so it really looked like mud. Thanks guys(and gals) for the compliments.
