4x4 Armor has added to their stable of trail gear with two new front and rear bumper designs. They even have a sweet swing-a-way tire carrier that uses the original chrome bumper as well as a new front and rear tube bumper. Their website has been updated with the pics.

Oh man, those are some sweet pieces of steel. Wish I wasn't a poor college student so I could get me some of those. I need 'em too, tweaked both my front AND rear bumpers this summer on the trail. Running down some old terraces left from a strip mine, going fine till the very last one. Figures...

Call my rig an SUV... And I'll tear your lungs out.

Anybody know how much the tire carrier that bolts on to the existing chrome bumper is?

Aaaaarrrghhhhhh ... I definitely need the spare tire carrier for the standard bumper ... was looking for that for months ...
I think the price wouldn't kill me, but the transportation costs. Consider overseas shipping for a piece that heavy ... no chance.
Ok, thats what I will do: I'll ask my company to sell me to a project in the US for a year or two, and I will take The Mule with me. Yessir, right now I'm going to my boss to adress this to her ...

    <font color=blue>K5 Blazer...because size DOES matter

What great looking bumpers! My mind was made up to buy the original bumpers, front and rear. The new tube bumbers really look great. Decisions, Decisions!

These bumpers are worth every cent. I got mine in August and they are great. The new system for mounting the high lift jack on the rear bumper is an improvement over mine. That's the only problem with early versions, those following are always a little better but oh well, there is nothing wrong with the ones I have. Fredd, keep up the good work.

So is the $550 for the front bumber or the stock add on tire carrier? The add on tire carrier is what I would like to know the price of.

    For Burt4x4,

    Not true :)
I make them for all K5's, including the early models.
I just don't have one to show in the pictures.
I promise, when we make an order for yours, we put your pictures on the webpage :)

So, you wanted to order ....... :)

Stop posting these sweat pics of bumpers. I have to replace both my front and rear, and i want to use Fredd, but all my scratch is tied up in drivetrain, lift, and wheels right now(your killing me). Mark my words I will be placing and order hopefully before summer. Fredd does the tube front go over the org. bumper, or replace it? Great work.

When all else fails MASH the skinny pedal!

    For mybeast :
The tube bumper replaces the complete original bumper.

    For MudFrog :
$550.00 is the price for the tube front bumper.
Price for the tire carrier that goes with the original bumper is $480.00 including the special subframe and special bumper brackets.
