4x4 no worky

    Ive got this friend who has been cursed with a 89 bronco full size and his 4x4 doesnt work, the front drive shaft will turn when its in 4x4 but he says it doesnt work, its go locking hubs and we locked em and he said it didnt work though, is this possible? Does any one know what could be wrong with it? Thanks

    Hubs... just because the're in there, doesn't mean that they're "in" there. Yaknow?
    Had the same problem. Take them out and inspect

    OK this is the problem....






    Go to the front of the truck, and look right at the front...




    and then they have already circled the problem for you, its right on the grill...

    Probably somewhere along the line some bailing wire or bubble-gum came loose, check that first.

    I know its the Ford thing, but i will have him get some WARN hubs for his truck
    Thanks for all the advice on fords, ive always known they were junk
