Been coming here to CK5 for 5 years now, just seems like yesterday when I found the site. I would just like to thank everyone that has helped me out over the last 5 years and thanks for all of the friends I have made. Can't wait to see what the future holds. :hack::weld::grind:

Yeah, it's kind of amazing, isn't it? I'm a longtimer myself, and I consider a few of the guys here to be good friends even though we've never met face to face.

It's also neat to see other guys still posting who have been coming here since the beginning. That's why I got in the habit of using the term "brother" around here, as some of you may have noticed.......:wink1:

I was a few months behind you guys...it'll be 5 years for me in July.

Anyone try and think back to our 'ideal' K5 then as compared to now? My 'build' goals and criteria have really evolved, and when I look at my truck now I know it would have blown my mind 5 years ago. None of that would have happened without this place.

Yeah, I felt sorry for Corey when I first met him, so I pretended to like him because everyone else at CK5 ignored him..........Poor guy!!!!

To top it off, he couldn't handle doing real man's work and had to quit running heavy equipment. He had to settle for being a brainless tow truck driver because no one else would hire him.

RIGHT BACK AT YA', FOCKER!!!!!!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:  :wink1:

That's ok, only in a country as liberal as canada is operating a machine considered real man's work.

I'll second Tylers comment and add that you probably wouldn't last a day doing Paul's job. Not exactly sure what politics have to do with any of it though...:surepal:

You wanna know something funny, Rene? I was just thinking to myself that I spent about 3 hours on Friday operating a jackhammer that weighs about 20 pounds less than Timmay........:rotfl: :rotfl:
