52" or 56" springs

    52\" or 56\" springs

    Either spring will bolt up to 1/2 ton or 3/4 tons, correct? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I'm gonna order some new springs and I'm pretty sure I want the 56's just wanna make sure they'll work.

    unless you move the factory hangers to a new spot on the fram they wont work if ya dont replace em with the current length ya have now

    No, the springs aren't "interchangeable." You'll need to move the rear hanger back in order to stuff a 56 in place of a 52. Good news is that there should already be holes in the frame for both positions of the rear hanger.

    56" will fit if you re-arch them 6-8" over. I arched 56" long 4" lift springs 4" more and still had to move the rear hanger back.
