Is the flywheel on an 82 6.2 externally balanced and, if so, will one for a sb400 fit?

I know the diesel uses a different starter and ring gear with coarser teeth. I seem to remember the 6.2L flywheel being unique back when I was in auto-wrecking.

    My 2 cents.

6.2 diesels are 139 tooth, not the same as a sbc

    lets see sbc= 150 # compression
a 6.2 = 380 # minimum or more i dont think a sbc starter would even turn the motor over
i have the stuff 4 sale if needed

Since this is Jeffro's post, he gets first dibs on the Flywheel, but if he doesn't want it, I would like to know what you want for the 6.2L Flywheel! Thanks!
