My local shop said they are all made in the same place just different manufacture stamped on it. Is this true? Thanks Mike

One of the last components I would short change myself on is head gaskets. There is no better insurance than new Fel-Pro head gaskets and new TTY head bolts.

I've never heard that before. I don't think Detroit Gasket and Fel-Pro are connected in any way at all, however.

You might call Jamie Avant at the Diesel Depot at 800-553-8192. They rebuild 6.2L and 6.5L engines, and they use Detroit Gaskets on their 6.2L engines.
