6.2 wont start

    i changed my starter solenoid today and then tried to start my truck and it wont come on....so i put the old one back on and it did the same thing. Does anyone know whats wrong?? please help...thanks

    Wires on the wrong terminals?

    well was it working before ya changed the solinoid ??
    as my guess is the fuseable links
    have ya tried tracing down the wires with a test light yet ??

    /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gifGlowplugs??? Glowplug controller??? That's what got mine, and after the coltroller went out 4 times, I said to hell with it and put a pushbutton in. Works like a charm every time.

    [/ QUOTE ]I dont think he would have put the old starter back on if it was cranking so it cant be the glow plugs, unless it is cranking.
